I’ve been really busy this week what with being offered a new job and generally trying to squeeze so much stuff into my life.
It is indeed National Cupcake Week, I tried hard to make a contribution in the form of toffee apple cupcakes but I rushed them (something one should never do) and the sponge was just a bit…rubbish and the buttercream too runny. I tried to patch up the buttercream by spraying it with pearlescent spray which gave them a very “art deco” feel but they just weren’t good enough to put on my blog. It’s good to learn from the mistakes though and I hope to show you them very soon.
