Manjit’s Kitchen needs our help. So many of the good people of Leeds and surrounding areas have tried her fabulous Gujarati food and if you haven’t got round to it yet, you should help out and get Manjit back on the road so you can try it even sooner. Because seriously, the food is TO DIE FOR. I’m thinking about her infamous spicy paneer wrap right now…
Poor Manjit had recently invested in a new van to help her spread her tasty food message far and wide, but unfortunately it was vandalised and consequently written off at a much lower value than what it was worth. It’s also meant that all the events she’s planned to do have had to be cancelled or potentially postponed because she has no way of getting there with all the gear, which also means she’s losing income. The good news is Manjit’s purchased a replacement, a little blue horsebox which she’s planning to up. And that’s where you and me come in.
I can’t express how important it is that we support our local community and the people that we care about and appreciate. If we all give just a little bit, we can achieve a lot. You don’t even have to know Manjit or ever plan to try her food, but know that you’ve done something good today – it’ll give you a good warm glow inside. Perhaps you might even lend a physical hand, as the horsebox also needs a team of people to assist with its transformation.
So if you want to do something good today and help a truly wonderful independent business back onto it’s feet then you can read more and donate on Manjit’s Crowdfunder page.
