We discovered the cheeses at a food fair in London a few years ago. Yum yum! We bought some direct from the Snowdonia Cheese company for our Christmas spread too a couple of years ago.

And we are lucky to have a local independent butcher who stocks it too – handy when you don’t really want to buy six on the go. Beware though there are other producers who wrap their cheeses in eye catching colours. not saying theirs are inferior of course.

The first one I really enjoyed was the purple one, pickle power I think it was called. Slivers of silverskin pickled onion in it. OMG maybe I’m going to have venture down the high street tomorrow.
